Description

The aim of this project is to inventarize objects from the collection of the Weinviertel Museum Village Niedersulz (WMN). These include textiles on the one hand, and old collections from almost all other areas (agriculture, household goods, crafts, carts and sledges) as well as museum books and archives on the other. This will expand the basis for scientific research into the everyday rural culture of the Weinviertel. As part of the inventory work, new object data records are being created and existing inventory data revised. The IGLR team is working closely with the cooperation partner Weinviertler Museumsdorf Niedersulz. The processing of the collection in this two-year project also includes the professional photographic documentation of the objects and the scientific monitoring of the inventory work.
